The KEMIA team focuses its passion and experience on finding new processes that are tailor-made for the customer and in compliance with environmental standards.

From the outset, KEMIA has implemented several initiatives aimed at limiting environmental impact, including reducing the use of toxic substances, reusing packaging materials as well as recovering and reusing water.

The company has also installed a 120 kW photovoltaic system in the Castiglion Fiorentino factory in order to reduce electricity consumption and self-produce energy.

  • Continuously monitor and improve processes in terms of effectiveness and efficiency and ensure the availability of appropriate machinery, tools and environments as well as qualified, competent and professional personnel.
  • Continuously apply analyses and tests from the acceptance of raw materials to the final products, guaranteeing the quality of the supplied product.
  • Comply with applicable national and European regulations (standards, laws and standards)
  • To take an active role in the protection of the environment in the course of its activities, using methods and technologies suitable for preventing pollution and/or reducing interactions with the environment.
  • Optimise and reduce waste production over time.
  • Detect and prevent the environmental impact of activities.
  • Commit to continuous improvement of environmental performance and pollution prevention that limits the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere, water and soil.
  • Strengthen education and awareness activities on environmental issues for staff.
  • Strengthen information, education and training activities, involving all operators and making them aware of their individual obligations and the effects and consequences of all their actions to achieve the expected health and safety results.
  • Identifying the hazards of activities and assessing the risks to personnel in advance of existing and each new activity and/or process, to enable solutions to be adopted to prevent accidents and occupational diseases.
  • Provide safe and healthy working conditions to eliminate hazards, prevent injuries and reduce risks.
  • Commit to continuous improvement in the prevention of injuries and accidents.
  • Promote initiatives for consultation and participation of workers and their representatives.
